As Senior Vice President of the mortgage division of the University of Virginia Community Credit Union, he oversees mortgage operations serving homeowners throughout Central Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley while continuing to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Through his distinguished career, Mr. Ballew has held numerous executive leadership roles, including Vice President and Mortgage Division Manager at Planters Bank & Trust Company, Regional Mortgage Manager at BB&T Mortgage, CEO of the Mortgage Division at First Bank, and Senior Vice President / Chief Mortgage Lending Officer at Opportunity Bank of Montana.

Mr. Ballew specializes in mortgage lending, executive management, mortgage banking operations, loan origination, residential real estate financing, FHA lending, sales leadership, investor relations, and financial services. He is also an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Association of Credit Union Mortgage Alliance.

Before embarking on his professional career, Mr. Ballew attended Blue Ridge Community College, where he earned his degree in Banking and Finance. He further advanced his credentials by obtaining his Direct Endorsement Underwriter certification through HUD and earning his Virginia Mortgage Lending License.

Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Ballew has received numerous awards and accolades recognizing his leadership, integrity, and commitment to the mortgage banking profession.
